Dr. Fujimoto has been very helpful with James’ reading disability. We noticed in grade one his reading and comprehension we’re falling behind. We had both of our children’s eyes checked and found out that James was not able to track his vision properly. In essence, he would start reading the beginning of the sentence and his eyes would turn and jump to the end of a paragraph, missing the middle of the sentence. We started the syntonic vision therapy and followed Dr. Fujimoto’s recommendations for other Eye therapy. The treatment was successful. James is now reading significantly better and is keeping up with the school curriculum.

I have been going to Dr. Fujimoto for 12 years now and if it weren’t for her diligence and perseverance, I most likely would have lost my sight. I have always had issues with high prescriptions due to extreme nearsightedness and two partial retinal detachments, but it was not until she discovered I had signs of early cataracts, did I face the real possibility of permanent and irreversible vision loss due to complications of the detachments. She was able to research and refer me to a surgeon who was not only able to save my vision but for the first time since I was five years old, I had my vision restored to 20/20! Yes, there are tests, but it is your vision. Take it from someone who was declared legally blind – I would rather have a test or two than have an issue go undetected.

I was very impressed by the thorough examination I received during my appointment. Dr. Fujimoto took time to check and recheck aspects of my exam. I also learned a lot about the connection between the food I eat and the health of my eyes. I found this information surprising and hopeful. I would rather eat better food than have more eye problems down the road that might require surgery to fix. I can’t say enough about how much I was impressed by the quality of my experience at Dr. Fujimoto’s. I will never go anywhere else for my eye care.
